A new poll published recently by the department for business, Energy and Industrial strategy displays that more people in the UK are concerned about climate change than ever. The data shows that 85% of the public are either very concerned (44%) or fairly concerned (41%) about climate change, this is the peak of public concern recorded to this date.
Public support for renewable energy also reached a record high at 87%, 54% of people who said they “strongly support” using renewables. All of this shows how much change people want when it comes to making an effort to save the planet
